Hello. My name is Nick Redfern and I run Nick Redfern Music Limited in Foxton, Leicestershire. I am passionate about music and music education and believe that music is an essential component in life and fundamental to our artistic, intellectual and spiritual well being. I have a philosophy which states if music does not change your life then you are not doing it correctly!

My teaching is highly supportive and student centred and I can offer a very friendly and fully rounded musical education and learning experience. My teaching sessions or between 30, 60 and 90 minutes and include piano, singing, music theory and composition.

I studied at Huddersfield Polytechnic, King’s College London, The Royal College of Music and The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and have a first-class honours degree, a masters degree and a doctorate in music. I am also a professional composer and writer. I have worked in education for 31 years and established NRM in August 2017.
